To be completely honest I don’t love shooting large groups of people, I get really nervous and worry about calling people by the wrong name, repeatedly. But every once in a while I’m asked about large group family sessions, and when my favorite neighbor asked if I’d be available I enthusiastically said…Yes! You see my neighbor’s sister in law, Karen Verst, is batting cancer…for the second time in her life. Being able to bless others with a gift I’ve been given really is the best feeling. I know it won’t cure her or lessen any pain she has, but the family is now documented with all of the new additions, and is something she can look at will hopefully bring a smile to her face. I’ve had the privilege of capturing this family a few years ago and I often see some of the kiddos too (which helped with getting them to cooperate, not to mention the bag of jelly beans they devoured for all of the awesome smiles they gave me). Karen, Mike, Amber, Brandon, Ethan, Sam, Rachel, Maggie, Paxton, Nate, Heather, Michael, Judah, Ester, Amy, Linda, Zach, Danielle, Ana Mae, Elli, Livvy, and Isabel…it was such an exhilarating and exhaustingly fun time capturing you all. Thanks for working the purples and blues!
