Capturing a birth is such an emotional experience. I love the excitement, the pain, the joy and the tears. All of it really. And becoming friends with my clients definitely helps to make having a photographer at the birth a natural thing. I love spending time with my clients during a maternity session because it makes sharing in your birth such a joy, for me and for you too! And by that time we are already friends. This lovely mama, Sheila, was a serious rockstar at her birth. She was laughing and joyful in-between contractions and pushed out her 8lb 15 oz baby boy with such strength!
